[Fighting and weather chaos seem to have given way to...new arrival chaos instead. Unless someone shows up from her world, Raven'll be steering clear of the New Feathers given half an opportunity, at least until they know more about what's going on.

No, today she's taking steps toward all the things she made tentative plans about. First, to the flower shop and the item shop, looking for seeds that might result in food that could restore Rune Magic. Or a certain special kind of blue flower, one she's not likely to find until the fall - but she'll look, for the flower and the seeds.

Then she swallows her weird mix of fear-pride and goes back to the smithy. Time to ask about work. Now that her arm has healed and she's gotten a little practice in again, making accessories doesn't sound bad at all. Whoever is around in there will see her awkwardly stare at the building for several minutes before going inside to stare in a similar fashion at them.

Next comes an early dinner at Seventh Heaven, and that's where she lays out the journal and a small bag of somethings and speaks a message.]

I want to talk to some of you. I'm at the restaurant. [A very long pause.] Do all worlds have monsters?

[[ooc: Basically, if you had a moment with Raven thus far since she's been here, she made you something while she was getting herself back into accessory-crafting shape. Anyone can run into her (literally, if you wish) as she wanders around the village and tries to eat dinner in peace.]]

[Great. A new one. Raven sighs. Should she continue this conversation?

Tapping her fingers on the table, she stares down at her book.]

Yeah. What...are they like?

[Oh that Raven lady Soren's so fond of. Man, she'll be surprised to see how big he got... They've talked about monsters/animals before on the draft, but he always enjoys describing them. Chien likes remembering home sometimes.]

Giant frogs, fishmen with hooks, giant red lizards that spit burning stuff and bite at you... There's giant bees and all sorts of plants too, not just ones that look more like what people usually think of animals.

[a pause]

Who do you want to talk to? Because there's a ton of people here, you know.

You. You're one of them. [One of the ones she wants to talk to, that is. You and your beautiful bird.]

...We have large insects too. And plants.

[Voice]

While mine does, I can answer your question that not all do. I have met some people whose worlds do not have monsters.

[Interpreting her announcement of where she was as an invitation, Green decides to go where she is to answer her question. But, of course, part of it is to check on her. He hadn't seen her since their run-in on the moon base.]

[She looks up, recognizing the semi-rude boy with the wild hair and fire lizard.]

Mm. I was injured, but I'm not anymore. [Which is the whole point, really.] ...So did you.

M-Monsters. Well that is a term people use for the b-beings in my world. But I r-rather not use that term for them. They're all rather nice actually, when you get to know them.

Yes. But in my world, the only monsters are human.

[Another person using "monster" to mean someone who does terrible things. Why couldn't she have thought to make sure they all got what she meant?]

Then you don't have them.

[ Since the whole "smithy was demolished by the storm" thing, Lightning hasn't yet made it back around to visiting the place again until just now. She's just there for the usual, though- gunblade supplies, throwing knives she can take without worrying about them belonging to someone else... so while she notices Raven is there too, she also makes little indication of the fact unless the other woman just happens to notice her initial glance. ]

[Raven's waiting to talk to that Sokka guy or one of the other people he mentioned as working there. Until then she's eyeing the weapons on display even though most of them she has no interest in.

She does know when she's being watched, though. And she nods to Lightning, because that was some really timely not letting someone die back there.]

Aye, to my knowledge all worlds do, but the idea of what makes a monster and the definitions thereof differ vastly. Sometimes even within the same world.

Well, not all worlds have monsters. But mine definitely does, lots of them, and lots of different types too.

[Somehow it's suddenly hard to ask for a job.]

[Oh, it's the lady he helped back on the moon base! A normal person would have assumed "some of you" didn't include people she'd barely met, but Eusine does not care about your puny social constraints.
Besides, she did mention "monsters". This is relevant to his interests.

It doesn't take him long to reach the restaurant, his Jumpluff in tow. His first reaction is of course... to beam as he spots Raven and stride towards her as if he'd known her all his life?
Well, it's as good a reaction as any.]

[And she is staring at him. Who is this guy?

Oh, wait. They met in the fight, didn't they?

Her attention is immediately on the Jumpluff instead.]

[Oh, that's Raven's voice! Rapunzel snaps to attention.]

Oh, hello Raven! I don't thiiink my world has monsters. But I'm not sure! I've never really met any monster experts.

Rapunzel. [For one reason or another she does not mind your unyielding chipperness.]

I learned that not all worlds do. Some have monstrous humans.

[Finally, a nice quiet party-free day. Not that Raine is spending it any differently than her other days. The morning was spent relaxing and resting off the trip out to the beach, but she'll be at the flower shop--sorting out and categorizing the seeds, in fact-- by the time Raven pokes her head in.]

[Good, because seeds are what she'll come to stare at. These are...not labeled like the seeds she's used to. Raven bypasses the flower seeds with a spare wistful sort of glance and goes straight to the vegetables.

With very little concept of what might be easy to grow in Luceti or whether any of these things will provide Rune Energy at all.]
