[Fighting and weather chaos seem to have given way to...new arrival chaos instead. Unless someone shows up from her world, Raven'll be steering clear of the New Feathers given half an opportunity, at least until they know more about what's going on.

No, today she's taking steps toward all the things she made tentative plans about. First, to the flower shop and the item shop, looking for seeds that might result in food that could restore Rune Magic. Or a certain special kind of blue flower, one she's not likely to find until the fall - but she'll look, for the flower and the seeds.

Then she swallows her weird mix of fear-pride and goes back to the smithy. Time to ask about work. Now that her arm has healed and she's gotten a little practice in again, making accessories doesn't sound bad at all. Whoever is around in there will see her awkwardly stare at the building for several minutes before going inside to stare in a similar fashion at them.

Next comes an early dinner at Seventh Heaven, and that's where she lays out the journal and a small bag of somethings and speaks a message.]

I want to talk to some of you. I'm at the restaurant. [A very long pause.] Do all worlds have monsters?

[[ooc: Basically, if you had a moment with Raven thus far since she's been here, she made you something while she was getting herself back into accessory-crafting shape. Anyone can run into her (literally, if you wish) as she wanders around the village and tries to eat dinner in peace.]]

Tapping her fingers on the table, she stares down at her book.]

Yeah. What...are they like?

Oh! Um, well, they're pretty mean, actually. They attack on sight, and they'll chase you a really long way if you're not careful.

...Mmh. All the time?

Yeah! [ ... ] Well, actually, not all of them will chase you. But if they do see you, they will come after you.

[Really, this girl doesn't sound like the type she'd want to get into a conversation with. At all.

So why is she?]

Only some are like that where I live.

[~~Rorona is actually using mind-control through the journals---~~ Wow. Only some? That's a first ...]

Oh, really? So, your world has friendly monsters in it?

[Friendly? She thinks of a wooly with weird gold fur and an acorn hat and shakes her head once. Hard.]

They can become your allies.

Oh! So you can ... tame them, I'm guessing?

[Forgive her, Raven, she's a little ... slow.]

Something. Like that.

[Some you really don't want to. Several are good for the farm, others make good fighting allies, but...not all of them.]

Wow ... Monsters and humans, working together. It sounds a little scary, but it also seems pretty fun!

[Scary. Fun. ...Yeah, that's about right.]

They're learning to live together, I guess.

I see ... Still, that's really nice to hear! It sounds a lot better that way, learning to live together instead of fighting each other.

Did you ever meet any monsters like that?

Yes.

[What did you expect, new girl? More words than that?]

[Sort of! ... But Rorona's dealt with people of few words before. ... Not that that makes it much easier.]

Ah, I see ... [ ... ] Um, you're not very talkative, are you? [And she quickly adds:] N-Not that that's a problem, of course! I'm just trying to make sure I'm not ... bothering you, or anything. Ehehe ...

You're talkative enough. [You don't happen to be related to a clumsy cook or a money-grubbing innkeeper's daughter, by any chance?]

It's fine.

Oh, all right! Hehe, I was starting to get a little worried there ...

[So she's just quiet, then! Okay, so--]

Um, my name is Rorona. What's yours?

[Oh, no, it's plenty annoying.]

[Too bad, Raven. Rorona's throwing a metaphorical friendship pie at you right now and you're going to like it. Something like that, anyway.]

Hmm ... [Raven ... how to make a cute nickname out of that ... oh!] Okay! It's nice to meet you, Ravy.

I heard you! I just thought Ravy would be a little cuter, you know?

[She had to say that to Micah too.]

I wouldn't really know that, but that's no reason for a name to not be cute, is it?

[Because it's her name and she is not cute.]

Hehehe, yep! Not only is a cute, it's a fun way to remember everyone's names! Especially if they have hard or long ones ...
