Take two enterprising, bored souls, give them a fight scenario and the arena in which to implement it, and enough free time, and bam! Instant entertainment. Two souls engaged in an epic battle to the finish with their strangely elemental animal companions. A champion-strength trainer and a laid-back but motivated beginner. Imagine the spectacle!

So it's much more fun when a very large and colorful bird - with four wings! - comes half-flying, half-drifting down into the middle of your crazy pokémon training, right boys?]

[...Holy balls he was not expecting a Pokamon which looked quite like this. Particularly in this fight because most of the ones in this simulation had been water types. But oh well, giant four winged bird, so Masaomi (who has a collapsable baton in hand as well as Linda at his feet- decides to clip its wings-]

-Wait, Linda's going to hit that bird thing with a Thunder Wave. Silver reflexively tries to move in between the two of them and the bird thing along with Sneasel, signaling for a Protect.] Don't hit it, that's not-

[...Of course, the completely jarring command throws Sneasel off and slows his reaction time, so Silver is the one to get hit with that Thunder Wave instead of a nice safe wall of not getting shocked and paralyzed.

Please excuse him while he grits his teeth, makes a series of contorted faces, and tries to regain his bearings.]

[The bird wouldn't have been able to do much to defend herself. As it is, she lands hard and off-balance, slow to orient herself while she's trying to look at Silver, Masaomi, and their pokemon all at once.

[Following behind him, Raven's having a personal struggle with keeping the surprise off of her face. This is not her village. It's not any village she's ever been to before.

And if they're right, it's not one she can leave, either. Wearing Masaomi's jacket and a plain white dress is hardly embarrassing, but it's still not something she wants to be stuck in if this weird exhaustion puts her on the ground, or something.

[Silver's not so good at a leisurely pace, but he does try to take it easy and be easy to follow. It definitely catches her attention when Raven finally does say something.]

[If you want to return that jacket, Raven... Masaomi will actually be at the Dome until well after dark. Mostly because he doesn't want to go out in his pink wings. While he does run a few more exercises with Linda, as the day gets longer, he instead is doing his own physical workout. A jogging track where he has to run for three kilometers while going at twice Earth's gravity. And then do some pullups.
