[There's so much to do in one day around Luceti, if you only put your mind to it. Take two enterprising, bored souls, give them a fight scenario and the arena in which to implement it, and enough free time, and bam! Instant entertainment. Two souls engaged in an epic battle to the finish with their strangely elemental animal companions. A champion-strength trainer and a laid-back but motivated beginner. Imagine the spectacle!

So it's much more fun when a very large and colorful bird - with four wings! - comes half-flying, half-drifting down into the middle of your crazy pokémon training, right boys?]


[Voiced, later on]

["You" doesn't acknowledge the protest, choosing to make his announcement instead.]

[It's apparent they're dangerous. Raven steps forward and changes form, rising into the air to go after one of the ones remaining with fire and wind blasts from the sky.]

Linda, go for a Tail Whip and move on to quick attack.

[with a pat on the girl's head. Linda nods, and moves to whack it with her tail, leap back, and then Quick Attack the final one into the face. Incidentally, the one Raven hit isn't entirely out of the game is is raising it's tail for an Aqua Tail.

...Masaomi grits his teeth, still on the ice]

[Wait, don't- ...Nope, the bird girl's adding into this. It creates an interesting scenario for Masaomi, at least. And hey, he's not terribly concerned. The safety's on. He won't get hurt. Come on, Masaomi. Think and move. There are three ways to handle this that he can think of right off the bat.]

[Raven dodges the aqua tail, but only just. Something's off about the way she moves, and the strength of her magic. A few more blasts of fire tire her out, and she has to land and change back.]

[That one is occupied and pissed. The Aqua Tail being airborne means it didn't smash him thank god, but it does get him wet. However, the one Linda quick attacked is now going in to tackle them. ...This ice is going to break. where can he go-

...there's a few options, but getting in the water is not one and Linda can't Magnet Rise them both, though she does Magnet Rise herself a bit to not fall in. He leans his head to the Gayrados they zapped earlier. It's knocked out and floating in the water. He leaps onto it, and at Linda's command she follows. It's a bit of a balance, but it saves him from that ice being Smashed apart. As for the one the bird weakened, let's get it out of the game.]

Volt Tackle!

[And thus, Linda smirks before charging into that thing with electrical full speed, knocking it out and leaving only the one which had tackled earlier remaining. Which Masaomi already directed Linda to with a hand motion and a point. She lands on it's back as it's rising back up from it's tackle, and smirking, Thundershocks it. It trashes, but it's weakening]

[Now that's more like it. What do you think, Sneasel? ...Yeah, me too.]

[There's nothing for her to do now but watch what happens. These two seem to have monster partners - something not unheard of for her - but they're different from anything she has ever seen.]

[...SHIT. He raises his hand up, and in that moment, Linda magnet rises off the ground. Masaomi goes to leap, but he doesn't leap quite fast enough as out of the ground bursts...! A dugtrio. It hits him in the ass and sends him further up into the air. But Linda is unarmed. In mid-air...

This is obviously a ground type. How does he-]

[Let's lower it's defenses, at least. Linda floats over to slap it. But hwne he does the Magnet Rise fails and she lands on the ground. And immediately after the Dugtrio is hit it shoots back underground. In time for Masaomi to land on his feet]

You're in an entirely different world. [Focus, Masaomi, focus.]

[Masaomi is doing something intense and dangerous-looking except the "enemy monster" is three small molethings. Raven gives it a dry, puzzled stare, not registering Silver's words at first.]

[How the hell is he supposed to know where it's coming from? There's subtle ground movements, yes, but he's got no idea how to pinpoint there. What if he- ... How could he get Linda to do that.

It's exactly what it sounds like. [Now he's getting it. That wasn't exactly what Silver had in mind, but it works well enough anyway.

...Although now he's thinking-] Do you think Linda could learn to carry you in the air with Magnet Rise?

[Okay she's just starting between both of them now. Getting irritated. If they don't have time to answer the questions that she's putting all this effort into asking then she'll just leave.
