[Those interested in purchasing her wares, picking up things they asked for, or unpleasant conversation with Raven the eternally grumpy, can find her in the smithy in the morning through midafternoon, and then in the cafe, trying and failing to sort out what she's supposed to do with an art club it pains her to attend.]

You can just see who shows up and let them decide to stay, maybe.

I don't want them to stay if I don't like them.

If someone you don't like comes, I can kick them out for you!!!

[ YEAH.

Well she can at least tell them to leave and then call on backup if that doesn't work. Um. ]

[It's rare to hear Raven laugh at anything anymore, but the sound she makes is still highly amused.]

They will like you too much to leave.

[ Wow it's like she has no faith in Ikki's bouncer skillz. Which are mad skillz. With a z. ]

I could try to make them not like me so they'd leave! Oh, oh, or I could blow them away! Grandpa and Soren would help.

[The absolute worst thing that could happen to Ikki, short of disappearing.]

I guess. I mean, if people didn't want to leave and argued about it, maybe?

[ HRM. She doesn't usually do anything more dangerous than jumping off of really high places, which tends to be Because Airbender. ]

I...liked the way it was before.

[That's all she can bring herself to say on the subject, still, and she turns away from Ikki enough that the girl can't see her expression faltering.]

...I miss Uncle Sokka, too.

[ Hiccup had built her the air gates. Winry she hadn't known as well, but she knew Sokka had been friends with her. And Raven, too. ]

[He really was Ikki's family. One finger trails along a scratch into the wood of her countertop. He was like family to Raven, too - as good as. Like Gaius.

She can't say anything, so she doesn't, even holding her breath.]

...But there are people here I'd miss, too, so...I don't want to miss out on time with them.

[ Just in case. ]
