There's nobody here to make weapons.

[Blunt, void of feeling, and crisp. She doesn't even drum her fingers on the counter beside the open book.]

Winry's gone too.

[One more dart.]

If you want to work here, there's room.

[As long as you leave her alone and don't ask about interviews.]

[Those interested in purchasing her wares, picking up things they asked for, or unpleasant conversation with Raven the eternally grumpy, can find her in the smithy in the morning through midafternoon, and then in the cafe, trying and failing to sort out what she's supposed to do with an art club it pains her to attend.]

[It seems like she's getting more used to the journals, and this announcement gets her attention almost instantly. So, naturally, she's a little over-eager when replying to it. Who cares who this girl is, it's an opportunity for work!]

I am a weapons smith and I am interested in working at the forge.

Nobody at all? [Had everyone working there gone back to their worlds...?

Then again, it had always been a small workshop..]

[This morning, Aang decides to try to catch Raven while she was at the smithy. Despite whatever vandalizing was done to the bakery by Edmundo the Blade, Aang was still able to prepare a small platter of assorted cookies and pastries, hoping something amon them would be Raven's favorite.

He takes hesitant steps into the smithy, his basket of treats slung over one arm, as he scans around for Raven.

It's eerie how empty the place feels.]

Raven?

Weapons you say?

Interested says me. Deadpool being the name, kicking ass and taking names, being the game.

[That was a bit odd even for you man]

Sometimes I like to switch things up, like a boss.

[Asami sees the recording from where she's working in the back, and she pokes her head out after a moment, pushing her goggles up into her hair to look over at Raven before she sighs.]

It is getting pretty lonely, isn't it.

[So they're gone. The house next door had gone quiet, there was no not noticing, but Law hadn't investigated to see if it had been a case of kidnapping or disapperance.

That answers that. ... but there's something else he needs to ask considering what's coming up.]

... is there anyone left that can make jewelry?

[He knows of someone else who possibly could, but Law would not ask Isaac. He'd spend mission points first.]

[So... Winry's gone, and by the look of the house when she goes to see if Ed might still be there, the resounding emptiness reveals that as well. Hard to say if that's a good thing or not, with the recent returns of people without their memories.

Still it's another name, another face she likely won't be seeing around for a while and that's... sad. Sure, she'd have the memories, but if anything happened to her, then those would be gone as well.

It's with these heavy thoughts in mind that she goes about the rest of her business for the day - but by chance, the redhead is about to cross paths with her, likely inbetween locations.

Of course, she sees the quiet girl at other times - such as the art club, though there's not much conversation there - so greeting her on the street is hardly anything out of the ordinary. Particularly when it's to avoid a collision.]

-- Ah, hello Raven.

That's me.

[Some others can, and more she doesn't know about, probably. But he didn't ask that.]

Hey.

[And a nod. Raven doesn't know any teachers at home, but it's a career that deserves respect. Noting herself in Raine's path, she also steps aside.]

I don't mind it.

[Which, if Asami is like most others Raven says this stuff to, won't go over well and she's already barricading herself against the possibility.

It's also a lie.]

I don't understand you.

[Meet Raven. Raven is blunt like a hammer.]

[The flood of relief and fear and pain at hearing a voice she recognizes as someone she gives a damn about keeps her from turning around very fast.]

Aang. [Finally, from behind a shelf.]

Nobody who works here all the time.

[Maybe some of the part-timers can.]

Okay.

[Raven doesn't know her and at the moment, doesn't want to. It's better that way, for everybody.]

Come look around if you want.

Raven! [He says a little happily as he goes around in the direction of the voice.] How are you, today? I have some treats on me if you want some! [It's the best way he can cope with losing so many dear friends: to hold onto all the friends he has left.]

I shall be by in but a few minutes.

[There's no warning, no patience for confirmation as the feed switches off. Hardly ten minutes later a girl no taller than five-foot-one entered, seeming to be in a relatively bright mood. At least now she can take her mind off of things by getting to work, and she can work on repaying Aang as well.

That's when she notices that, for once, there's someone else in the shop. Blinking at the other presence, Adela walks forward to investigate and see who it was. Perhaps the girl on the journals?]

Aa.

[A slight pause.]

...then, would you be willing to undertake a commission right now?

[Eley wasn't unfamiliar with losing friends here and had seen just how it can affect others too. It seemed that that was no exception with Raven... Unfortunately the Spirit knew nothing about weapons and wasn't especially keen to learn about them either. But there was something they had discussed and he had to wonder if she had succeeded in making what he had asked for before this blow to her emotions.

So, he'll head on over to the smithy in the hope of meeting her there.]

Raven, yes? May I speak with you?

Well, that makes two of us.

[A shrug]

Basic of it all, I can handle weapons.

[Asami looks a bit skeptical at that, and decides to make her way out of the back entirely. She eventually settles herself down on a bench nearby.]

Really? I can't stand it. I miss when there was always somebody here.

[ And then Masaomi slammed headlong and hard into the door of the Smithy. He possibly knock the door off it's hingers a little, but he definitely did just impact with the force of someone moving much faster than a normal person could run. He's wearing some suspicious looking shoes which might be the culprit but mostly, now it's just dazed ]

How have you been holding up?

[The personal-ness of the question strikes her more than the words.]

[She's no expert at hinges either, he'd better be ready to fix what he breaks.]

[Opting instead for the doorframe is a great way to knock yourself out.]

[Usually, she does. She's had more commissions in the past month than the previous year, though, or at least it felt that way.]
