[Soren takes a lot of pride in always knowing where Raven is at a given moment...but he takes pride in most things. He even did a fancy landing just outside the smithy, and he jostles and bumps his way over to where Raven is at work on something yellow-hot and pointy.

She hears her bird before she sees him and backs away from the project, taking off her dirty gloves before she reaches a hand off to the side to pat him.]

It's not time for lunch yet. [But she says it with affection.]

[pokeboy]

[ That's a good indication as any of who to go to first! ]

Hi, sorry, he came here because of me.

[ Red steps forward, Pikachu eyeing over the woman with curiosity from where he sits. So this was Soren's friend? ]

Is now a bad time? My name's Red. I'm a Pokémon Trainer.

[She has vague memories of Red, who used to be around and hang around with Gold, Silver and the others. Raven nods at him like a greeting.]

They brought you here for a reason?

[Kyle, more used to smithy life, is already off helping someone else organize piles of things.]

Well, I thought it would be a good idea to meet you. Since I've been meeting the two of them so much. [ And he glances at them, spotting Kyle going off. ]

And maybe you'd wanna know who your pokémon were hanging out with? So- here I am!

[Red is five times more enthusiastic than Raven has the capacity to handle. She stares at him while he talks, shrugging once he finishes.]

I knew they were safe. [She trusts them both to keep out of bad situations.] What do they do with you?

[pokeboy]

[ Red doesn't mind the simple response at all. ]

Well... they hang out with us. They talk with my pokémon, mostly Pikachu and Venusaur. [ Snorlax doesn't care about talking until he does. Pikachu's always as ready for conversation as Red, and Venusaur doesn't mind chatting. ] Sometimes I make a game out of the training me and my pokémon were doing too so they can join in. Nothing too serious. [ Racing, reaching something first. Good fun stuff. ] But Soren's really competitive anyway.

[ Heheh. ]

[Heh. Soren's competitive streak has a hidden companion in Raven.]

If they want to train with you seriously, that's okay too. [Her monsters get to make decisions about their own lives, and all.]

[pokeboy]

Sure, that's okay with me too! I mean, they could've always stepped in for more stuff if they wanted to. [ He shrugs a little; he wouldn't have cared. ] When do you train with them?

[pendantry]

Train for battle the way you do? [Raven looks at Soren, who fluffs his chest feathers proudly.] Usually we don't. I don't like making monsters fight.

[pokeboy]

You don't? [ He's a little surprised, but it's temporary, and he easily brushes it away. ] That's fine. I can train them if they want that.

[ And there's a tiny pause before he continues. ] Is there anything you think I should know about them? Oh- I know Soren's name, but I don't actually know the other one's name.

No, I don't. They can fight if they want to but I won't make them.

[One hand comes to rest on the Fraxure's head.] This is Kyle. Hiccup was her partner before he went home.
