He had expensive tastes. Diamonds and aquamarine would give the ring magical properties, too, if she did it right.

"That's fancy."

"Yes." Of course she could. That was never in question. "How long do you have?"

Raven nodded, studying the design again. It wasn't like she had a load of other projects to consider.

"Maybe a week." A sideways glance. "Maybe less."

One hand gestured to the general soft chaos of the smithy's hard edges. "It's not like I have other work." Not too many people asking for jewelry these days.

Well, it wasn't as if he was going to get a better offer. "You're hired, then. Don't make me regret it. It's kinda important."

"That's it?" Enough for other people, but not enough for Tony Stark. "Let me pitch in. I know how to use the same tools you do." Granted, Tony was hardly a jeweler, but he knew delicate metalwork like the back of his hand.

If he wanted to make it, why had he come to her in the first place? Raven scowled, eyes narrowing back to their default less-than-friendly stare.

"Sokka's in charge here." If he told her she had to let this guy fiddle in her stuff legitimately, fine.

"So what? I'm asking you." He vaguely remembered that pony-tail guy - wasn't to impressed with him, still wasn't.

He clapped his hands together. "Great. So - when do we get started?"

"I have to get the materials together first. Come back tomorrow."

She didn't keep things like white gold and diamonds just lying around behind the counter.
