Ten
I have new things for sale.
[Raven picks up the book, to turn it around and show off her new merchandise; some of it is jewelry, some of it is just her playing with metal - metal that came from stuff she took apart after finding it in the item shop. Then there is a row of decorative things. Kyle is visible on the other side of the counter, with a specific focus on the metal leaves and flowers of her potted "plants".]
Mmh, I shouldn't say "for sale". They don't cost anything. If you like them you can have one. [Most don't have any kind of attribute either, due to their just-plain-metal nature. The plants occasionally have gems and crystals as part of the flowers; there are a half-dozen birdnest objects, some with stone eggs inside and some with crystal eggs.
Raven's growing fear of being left alone makes her a clingier employee and, surprise surprise, a friendlier salesperson.]

[Sometimes he asks the dumbest questions.]

[ PROBABLY? Right...? ]
[Voice ]
[No, she really doesn't know. Most people use 'what is it made of' to ask that question but the sentiment is the same.]

[Raven, master of the verbal shrug. She doesn't expect him to imagine it, and no one else should be expected to either.]
[Voice ]
[ with a little laugh at a joke based on that other conversation ] But I have heard before that a blacksmith's heart goes into their work, so doesn't that mean that your heart is as beautiful as your exterior?
[Voice ]
Are you trying to...flirt?
[Voice ]
[Voice ]
[It won't get him anywhere and it's making her uncomfortable and him look stupid.]

[ But she's right, of course. He laughs, and it devolves into a sigh]
But if you insist, Raven-san, you'll hear no more plaudits from me.

[ That feels so weird, to drop the honorific after she has just chastised him for being too familiar. ]
[Voice ]
