[Ever since regaining her memories, Raven has been busy as a bee in summer in the smithy. Not only does she have Masaomi’s long-ago request to work on, she has new and troubling things on her mind. The first order of business is to satisfy her customers, though.]

If you asked for an accessory from me I’m done with it. [That should cover Masaomi without having to name him specifically, and get any of her other customers in here too. Second on the list is to locate Sokka – might be easy, since he works there – and hand over the thing she’s been working on for him.

Then it’s an afternoon out, looking for the red singing creature first, then for anyone who loaned her the use of their lightning-resistant materials. She winds up at Good Spirits around dinnertime. There, Raven considers the bar. Drinking something – not necessarily the best idea.

[Then that settles that question. She picks up a small brown cloth bag and holds it out for him. Inside is an earring - a thick but small hoop made of joined pieces of an odd crystal, with metal wire wrapping in both directions around it.]

It almost works. [That probably needs some clarification but she'll let him look at it first.]

Oh wow... [Hoops, huh? Hoops are not his style, but if this does what he requested, he could work with it. He examines them closely, smiling to himself]

This is some nice work, Raven-chan.

[The stud-shaped one did not do the job. Trust her. She started completely over, even.]

Hm. [As if to say, does he expect her to cut corners?] Don't lose it.

[No, he would not. And he throws her a grin to show this. But as he sits it down on the counter-] Wouldn't dream of it. But mind giving me the professional rundown on it's properties?

Lightning won't kill you.

[Which is almost what he asked for. The way she says it makes it sound - truthfully - like she figures he must be stupid for thinking it would do something different.]

...Well yes, but I was hoping for a bit more detail. Voltages, maybe? Or Linda and I could field test 'er?

I tested it. [A slight tilt of her head, at the memory of however she chose to do it.] It still- you feel it. But it doesn't hurt and it won't kill you.

[Having no lightning spells of her own...one can only wonder.]

[generalflirt]

You did-? [He blinks, wow. He looks at her with new admiration. He goes to get it in on his left ear. in the spare hole]

I might need to it them more, I'm dumb like that. Want to come with me to see it put through its paces?

[Well. Hmm. Not really, but also kind of yes - because she wants to make sure that her finished item works as it's really meant to. And one of the others must be there, it's not like she's the only one manning the place.]

Fine. If it's fast.

[generalflirt]

Shouldn't be too long. We can just step outside. [And he reaches into his pocket to get out Linda's lurid yellow pokeball]

[Don't expect her to hold the door for you, Masaomi.]

Okay. [In fact that's all he'll get.]

[what why would he.

He'll hold it for Raven.]

[He's unpredictable like that.

He's also in charge of how far they're going to go from here. Raven has her arms crossed until further notice.]

[Oh he was just going to go and get behind the Smithy. So they are outside and now in the Square. Juggling Linda's Pokeball]

Raven fixes her attention on the ball. It seems she's halfway figured out what he's going to do here.]

You want protection from your monster?

[generalflirt]

That was the idea, yeah! [And one more flip in the air after touching the button, and the ball flies up to have Linda appear in a flash of red light!]

[Raven nods to the pokemon. She has no quarrel with Linda. There's a part of her that's kind of looking forward to this.]

Why?

[generalflirt]

[Linda waves back, puffing out her chest with pride and sparking a bit from her cheeks. Masaomi, for his part-]

I'm just a human. Linda can put out over eight thousand volts now, and so she needs to hold back when I'm in the same area as out enemies. So... I'm hoping this thing- [tapping the earring] can help make things easier for her.

[pendantry]

As if she would strike you that hard.

[She thinks Linda would hit hard enough to jolt him, that's all. Out of spite.]

[generalflirt]

Me? Oh no, totally not. [She pouts there what she- okay no she wouldn't] But what if the floor's wet and she's zapping an enemy? Or I'm holding the enemy? Both of those present confusing situations, hmm?

[pendantry]

[Well he could solve that with rubber gloves and rubber shoes, couldn't he? Suffice it to say that Raven is scowling again.]

Well go ahead.

[generalflirt]

Roger! Let's start this, Linda! [And he spreads his arms, smiling, as she starts off the charge into him. First, 100 volts. Then it starts to steadily increase, 100 volts at a time]

[He's crazy.

This was her initial assessment of him and it still stands.]

[2000, 3000... Wow, he still doesn't hurt, just feels a weird tingly feeling. As she keeps going, he's looking around his arms for burns]

[If he dies from this display of stupidity it will be well-deserved.]
