[Fighting and weather chaos seem to have given way to...new arrival chaos instead. Unless someone shows up from her world, Raven'll be steering clear of the New Feathers given half an opportunity, at least until they know more about what's going on.

No, today she's taking steps toward all the things she made tentative plans about. First, to the flower shop and the item shop, looking for seeds that might result in food that could restore Rune Magic. Or a certain special kind of blue flower, one she's not likely to find until the fall - but she'll look, for the flower and the seeds.

Then she swallows her weird mix of fear-pride and goes back to the smithy. Time to ask about work. Now that her arm has healed and she's gotten a little practice in again, making accessories doesn't sound bad at all. Whoever is around in there will see her awkwardly stare at the building for several minutes before going inside to stare in a similar fashion at them.

Next comes an early dinner at Seventh Heaven, and that's where she lays out the journal and a small bag of somethings and speaks a message.]

I want to talk to some of you. I'm at the restaurant. [A very long pause.] Do all worlds have monsters?

[[ooc: Basically, if you had a moment with Raven thus far since she's been here, she made you something while she was getting herself back into accessory-crafting shape. Anyone can run into her (literally, if you wish) as she wanders around the village and tries to eat dinner in peace.]]

[He thought they talked about this. Or. Implied it was okay. Or something. But there's a box of shurikens, throwing knives, and items of that nature in a box further down the counter.]

We'll have to figure out a place for you to work. I guess it depends on how much you need to make your stuff.

Different accessories use different metals and crystals. [Though on her list are also things like gloves, hats, and the occasional shoe.

When she starts sorting through the box, her hand stops around a few shuriken.] Shino uses these.

[Well, he does like to accessorize....]

[Oops. Raven turns red enough that she also looks away.]

She runs the inn. In Sharance.

[markofthewise]

Oh. [So it's a... nostalgic sort of thing then.] Is she here?

[pendantry]

No. ...I don't think so. Only Ondorus is here.

[And they're...about as distant in relations as two people can be, Raven and Ondorus.

If no customers or other distractions come up, Raven will have the box sorted in short order. The things that look damaged are in their own separate pile.]

[It's not all that important. Sokka himself is going through the swords. Some are mangled and are getting tossed to the side without much thought.]

Well. You never know, she could show up. Or you might have a grandkid show up. You never know in this place.

Grandkid? I don't have children.

[markofthewise]

Neither does my sister. And whoosh. Now she's got two granddaughters.

...That's...impossible.

[Except it can't really be, if it happened. Raven sweeps the damaged projectiles back into the box and holds it out to him.]

No. That's just another day in Luceti.

[Sokka fingers through the damaged pieces, before adding them to the pile of junk.]

Nothing here is what it looks like. [Sigh. So complicated.]

What next?

[Hmm. He looks around and, wow, everything is so cluttered it's hard to pick any one thing.]

Uh. Just find something, I guess. There's not really a shortage of stuff to do.

[Well, he's right. And she knows a thing or two about keeping a weapon shop stocked and organized. Also, about working in silence, and with diligence and all that stuff.

You have a rather tireless worker on your hands here, Sokka. Just be careful if she ends up greeting customers.]

[Well. This is awkward. Time to uh. Fill the air.]

So... you met Winry or Hiccup yet?

[pendantry]

[Shaking her head, she realizes he may not be looking at her as she stacks things against the wall.]

No. What do they make?

[She's also discarded her coat by now, because it gets in the way of carrying things and she already snagged it on a sword. Without it - in just her sleeveless black half-shirt - she looks like a craftsperson. Like someone who's worked with metal for a while.]

Hiccup makes weapons, like me. Winry makes automail. It's... prosthetics, for missing limbs. Only you can control them, just like a real arm or leg. It's pretty impressive.

[Though they all dabbled outside their specialties. All the time.]

[This face is the opposite of nonplussed. This is plussed.]

Someone can craft a working leg made of metal?

Sounds amazing, right? I've been picking up a little of it myself. It's impressive.

I want to see it. [Unchecked curiosity is rare with her, and when she catches herself she shrinks back.] If...people can.

[She doesn't make weapons much but the fine details of something like an arm are so intriguing.]

Sure. Just ask her sometime. [A shrug.] There's one guy around here who has one arm and leg with automail.

[Presumably he walks and works like they are his actual limbs, or Sokka wouldn't mention it the way he is.]

...Do many people...lose their limbs here?

[It would translate very badly for a bird.]

Uh. I don't think so? He lost his way before coming here.

[Back to working in silence.

But these are the times you're supposed to make smalltalk, right? She makes a few awkward attempts before finding something semi-comfortable to settle on.]

Why do you use a sword?

For general slicing purposes. Fight bad guys. And it looks cool. It's made out of a meteor, actually.
