Three

[Fighting and weather chaos seem to have given way to...new arrival chaos instead. Unless someone shows up from her world, Raven'll be steering clear of the New Feathers given half an opportunity, at least until they know more about what's going on.

No, today she's taking steps toward all the things she made tentative plans about. First, to the flower shop and the item shop, looking for seeds that might result in food that could restore Rune Magic. Or a certain special kind of blue flower, one she's not likely to find until the fall - but she'll look, for the flower and the seeds.

Then she swallows her weird mix of fear-pride and goes back to the smithy. Time to ask about work. Now that her arm has healed and she's gotten a little practice in again, making accessories doesn't sound bad at all. Whoever is around in there will see her awkwardly stare at the building for several minutes before going inside to stare in a similar fashion at them.

Next comes an early dinner at Seventh Heaven, and that's where she lays out the journal and a small bag of somethings and speaks a message.]

I want to talk to some of you. I'm at the restaurant. [A very long pause.] Do all worlds have monsters?

[[ooc: Basically, if you had a moment with Raven thus far since she's been here, she made you something while she was getting herself back into accessory-crafting shape. Anyone can run into her (literally, if you wish) as she wanders around the village and tries to eat dinner in peace.]]

Oh, yes. Um, q-quite a few in fact. I-I mean mythica. They're called mythica in my world. [ because he doesn't really like associating the word monster with his students. ]

I teach them at a school of mine along with humans. But, well, my human students don't exactly know that they're living together with such beings.
folklorist: (Oh is that right)

Um yes! With the help of my ring and its illusion magicks they appear entirely human.

I-I suppose people might panic or-or be a little frightened. But it's o-only natural for that to occur.
folklorist: (I don't honestly know)

It's not like that. I-I mean of course it seems like they're hiding but...something is happening back home. My students are a-able to see through my magical illusions at times and they can actually perceive the mythica for what they are. But the good thing is, is that many of them haven't actually become frightened by this sudden realization. Because now that they've become friends with my mythology students...appearance doesn't really matter to some of them. As if what they look like doesn't matter, which is what I-I truly strive towards making happen.

[ A pause. It's a slow going process and it probably still has its flaws because no plan or experiment is perfect. All of this that he's worked towards is yielding results though and that's what matters, that's what makes all the hardship worth it in the end. ] A world where mythologies and humans are coexisting together regardless of what they look like. This is r-really the first step. It, it might seem like hiding but I believe that taking it slow like this will be the better course of action in the end.

N-No it's, ah, nothing to apologize for. It's a-a very sensitive subject to some people. I-I apologize if I...came off as being offensive.

[ The subject was clearly a soft spot with the young girl at any rate. ]

I. I-I want to try and make people in my world understand. I know it's probably silly and, and a rather difficult thing to accomplish but I still have to try. Mythica in my world don't deserve to have to hide their true nature and forms. [ Because they weren't monsters and they do have feelings contrary to what popular media may paint them as. He's seen compassionate demons, and bashful vampires. He knows an angel who is in love with a human girl. They all just have regular, normal, emotions like everyone else. ] The planet is just as much as theirs as it is ours, you know? So I hope one day humans and mythologies can coexist peacefully and maybe even work towards helping one another.

[ Though that's an entirely separate job all together. One thing at a time, it's best to take these things slow. ]

[ Clearly he does. Why has he never thought of having one of those before?! ]

Yes they are. But I do have wonderful people helping me s-so they're...not as big or intimidating as they once were, actually.

[ He has lots of people who believe in his dream and want to help him and for that he's truly grateful. ] Who knows what'll happen. Just t-trying to achieve and reach your dreams...that's always the most challenging thing.

I do hope so to. I h-hope that in yours someone might come along and do the same. [ Because he's had a nagging feeling throughout this conversation that her own world suffers from things like this. ]

Everything deserve a chance no matter what or who they are, or so I'd like to believe.

I-I see. Well it's, it's good to know that at least one person in your world is...willing and wanting to help. That, that can only lead to more people wanting to help a-and maybe even one day aiding in doing so.

[ Optimism Helios has it! ]
